These evaluations, in English, Maths, Science and Global Perspectives serve as a guide for individual students and parents to gauge how learning has progressed during Junior School and Middle School and also for teachers to plan learning in the future. The School expects that all students obtain the DELF A2 certificate and that those with a special interest in the language can reach the DELF B1 or B2 advanced levels.
It is at the beginning of Middle School that students have the opportunity to begin the study of a third language – French. The school’s close association with the Alliance Française allows students to gain recognition of their abilities in the language through the “Diplome d’Etudes en Langue Française” (DELF) which is awarded by the Ministry of Education in France.
